Yesterday night, I watched Life of Pi. It was a beautiful movie of a boy in India who found faith in Hindu, Christianity, and Islam. His family had a zoo, but they had to move to Canada with the animals. He was shipwrecked, lost his family, and had a tiger in his life boat. Then he experienced God in the Pacific Ocean. It is a beautiful story.
While I was watching, I did not push the fast forward button unlike what I did in Citizen Kane, Lincoln, and Ides of March. This is a great movie. Ang Lee is an inspiring director. He once said, "I don't find my films, my films find me." Truly, this is a film worth finding.
